In Volaris, we are committed to offer the best service and effective air transportation. We  always work to guarantee that your flight experience is as pleasent as posible and of the highest quality.

Need Special Assistance?

If you or someone you are traveling with has any kind of disability, please get in touch with us so we can help cover all your specific needs.

Notice our Staff

Please inform a member of our staff if you are flying with a wheelchair so that it is ready to transport on the plane prior to the departure. Wheelchairs do not have an additional cost to your flight.

Require a wheelchair

You can request a wheelchair when booking your flight or upon arrival at the airport. Our staff will provide the necessary assistant to transport you inside the airport, to the boarding gate and as far as you entrance on the plane. 

Assistance to Travel

Once you’re on board, you will receive all the necessary assistance to travel more comfortably. When arriving at your destination, you will be assigned a temporary wheelchair until you receive your own along with your checked baggage.

Cognitive Disability

· Ask for support in advance or at the airport counters.

· Please note that we do not have continuous supervision or escorts designated for passengers with cognitive disabilities. Is special attention is needed, you must request guidance service during boarding, landings and connections.

· If the person traveling has problems following safety instructions or requires continuous attention, she or he must travel with someone.

Service Animals

· If you need to travel with an emotional support animal (dog or cat), you can do so at no additional cost by presenting a medical certificate that guarantees that you are under treatment and you need it for your flight. The document should be issued up to one year before the date of your flight, and it must be signed by a qualified mental health doctor (psychiatrist, psychologist, or a physician specialized in psychosocial, emotional or intellectual disabilities).

· In case you can't submit the required document, you can board with the animal paying the correspondent fee for a Pet On Board or Pet In Belly, depending on each case. Click here for more information on how to take your pet on board.

    Visual Disability

    You can travel with a service animal (dog), with no extra charge. The customer service advisors will assist you at the boarding gate.

    Hearing Disability

    In most airports, you will find information screens with flight departures and arrivals; you can find them at our counters and boarding gates.

    Vocal/Speech Disability

    In case you have any questions, you can contact us by writing and we will gladly help you.
